Cleverly the kitchen kickers tie in with the bench top colour yet still offers a great contrast to the cupboard doors and panels of the island bench. With no sink in the island bench, the owners have created an inviting spot to sit and socialise around.

The overhead kitchen cabinets were kept free of handles. By not making the handles too much of a feature it keeps the general look of the kitchen less busy. The handles are only on the base cabinets and drawers.

Plenty of natural light is filtered through the home - with clever inclusions like highlight windows being placed above the mirror and vanity in the ensuite, therefore making efficient use of the space.
